Started January of 2012, by a past Shore Conference athlete Robert Kellert, this site’s purpose is to create interest and pride in Shore Conference Track and Field, among both Ocean and Monmouth County athletes. Other inspiration come from love of the sport, and the hope to have another awesome source for the local track field and xc scene, while presenting this information in an aesthetically pleasing and easy to relate to format.

With, hopefully good, presentation, a Facebook , Twitter , and YouTube account, and fresh ambition Tour de Shore hopes to create an awesome experience here on the site.

I am just trying to make an awesome track site devoted to an awesome Conference. Help make the environment fun and interesting by interacting and giving Tour de Shore a chance and spreading the word!

-A track athlete since middle school. (A distance runner running sprints and hurdles.)

-Ran four years indoor and outdoor in high school, one year cross country. (Was pretty much terrible.)

-Four years cross-country, indoor, outdoor and a team captain in good old DIV III collegiate running. (Learned how to love running, worked hard, became better.)

-Worked in Sports Information Department during time at College.

-Now assistant coaching high school indoor and outdoor track, along with other jobs and things. (Still loves running.)

-A sports information, graphic design, and sports in general… enthusiast. (Now. Has. Blog. Still loves running.)
